Helping the MOMS Club help others
Your donations and shopping dollars are helping to renovate the Church Street Park in historic downtown Fayetteville. The park is in a state of disrepair and the city has no funds available for its improvement. The MOMS Club of Fayetteville, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization, has taken on this large scale service project and has been hard at work to make it happen. Their aim is to create an ADA compliant neighborhood gathering place where all members of the community can enjoy the outdoors at an accessible, family-centered park with a variety of playground equipment.
We are happy to be able to help with a $5,000 donation for the project. They plan to install swing sets, a toddler friendly area, a multi-use play structure, improve the basketball court, add picnic tables and trash receptacles and improve parking and accessibility.
The MOMS Club of Fayetteville was established in 1998. They have been active in the community ever since, performing service projects to include cleaning up local parks, visiting residents at Azalea Estates and Dogwood Forest, raising money for local charities, supporting local fire stations and other projects.
