Celebrating Christmas at the Clothes Less Traveled!

Today we had an open house, a big sale AND... Santa Claus! Children of all ages stopped to talk with Santa, grab a cookie and have a cup of hot apple cider.

We have a sale every Wednesday and at various times of the year we sneak in special sales. Today in honor of our open house and Santa's visit men's short sleeve shirts, women's designer pants, dishes, purses, books and a few other items were half price, plus we marked all the Christmas items down by 25%. Hope you were able to stop in and shop.

If you'd like to keep up with our sales and other special events you can visit our website, read this blog, follow us on Facebook or Twitter (@cltthriftshop) to keep up with sales and other special events.

Last night we held our annual Christmas Party. About 50 Above and Beyond winners, store staff, Board members and their guests gathered for some good food and great company. It was a very festive affair! We held the party in an empty storage area (it was large) --- it took a lot of time and talent to turn the area into a winter wonderland! It was gorgeous. All of the things used to decorate the area came from the store! Be sure to check out the slide show below to see some of the cool Christmas decorations we borrowed for the night. They all went back to the store first thing this morning.

This is the time of year when we remember why we all give! We hope you'll have a blessed Christmas and remember the reason we celebrate this holiday.

We have a very close-knit family made up of a diverse group of people with huge hearts! If you're interested in volunteering please visit our website. www.clotheslesstraveled.org
